Aemalemalo Seui is a graduate of Central High School. He received his Bachelor of Music in Music Education from the University of Wyoming in 2002. Mr. Seui began his teaching career in Kingman, Arizona where he taught K-8 general music, 4-8 choir, 5-12 band, and 6-8 guitar. Mr. Seui moved back to Cheyenne in 2012 and currently teaches band at East High School. He is also an instructor for the Wyoming All-State Marching Band. Mr. Seui has served the Wyoming Music Educators Association as the Marching Band Chairman and the Southeast District President.

Aric Hageman is one of the EHS band directors. Previously, Mr. Hageman was the band director at Riverton High School for 12 years. He also served as the percussion instructor and more recently the Executive Director for the Wyoming All State Marching Band from 2008-2025. Mr. Hageman has a masters degree in Percussion Performance from Kansas State University where he instructed the drumline and a bachelors in Music Education from the University of Wyoming.

Kayla Schmidt is an East High School graduate, class of 2015. While attending, she was a member of the band and color guard. Ms. Schmidt attended the University of Wyoming andmarched with the Western Thunder Marching Band color guard from 2015-2019. She graduated in 2020 with a BA in Elementary Education. Ms. Schmidt has been working with the East band since 2017, and has been the guard instructor since 2021. She currently teaches at Bain Elementary.

Marcus Gallizzi is a graduate of Cheyenne Central. Mr. Gallizzi attended the University of Wyoming where he majored in music education. After marching with the Troopers Drum and Bugle Corps in 1997-1998, he became a drill instructor from 2002–2003 and was a member of the administrative team as the Director of Development in 2003–2004. Mr. Gallizzi has performed in a variety of different ensembles across the region over the past two decades. Mr. Gallizzi has been a member of the EHS band staff since 2021.

Samuel Parks is a graduate of Fossil Ridge High School in Fort Collins, CO. He received his Bachelors in Music Education from the University of Wyoming in the spring of 2025. During high school and college, Mr. Parks performed with a variety of marching organizations including the FRHS marching band and winter guard, The University of Wyoming Western Thunder Marching Band, The Battalion Drum and Bugle Corps, and the Troopers Drum and Bugle Corps. He has even served as admin staff for the Troopers post age out. After graduating from UW Mr. Parks spent his first-year teaching middle school in Rawlins, WY. He spent the year building up the choir and general music programs. Now living in Cheyenne, he teaches band at Carey Junior High School. 

Vincent Gallizzi graduated from East High in 2025 and is a sophomore music education and trumpet performance student at the University of Wyoming. He has performed with the Battalion Drum and Bugle Corps in 2024 and the Troopers Drum and Bugle Corps in 2025 and 2026. At the Troopers he was a soloist for the 2026 season.

Max McAdams is student teaching under the mentorship of Mr. Seui and Mr. Hageman during

the Fall of 2026 and plans to graduate from the University of Wyoming with a Bachelor’s of

Music in Music Education in December. As a performer, he played with the Western Thunder

Marching Band, Percussion Ensemble, Symphonic Band, Wind Symphony, Symphony

Orchestra, and Singing Statesmen during his undergraduate degree. Additionally, he was

heavily involved as the Chapter President and Midwest District Vice President for Finance and

Records of Kappa Kappa Psi, Secretary of UW’s Collegiate National Association for Music

Educators chapter, and presented his research at the 2025 Society for Music Teacher Education

Conference. After concluding his second summer at Interlochen Arts Camp, Mr. McAdams is

excited to work with Mr. Seui and Mr. Hageman to grow and learn alongside the East High

School band program.

Ian Scruggs is originally from College Station, Texas. Ian is currently a sophomore nursing student at University of Wyoming. In 2024 he marched with the Troopers Drum and Bugle Corps following that he marched 2025-2026 with the Boston Crusaders Drum and Bugle Corps.
